We help you enter the U.S. market with a solid strategy. No improvisation.
With our Market Ready Framework™ methodology, after 120 days with MCC, you will know exactly which retailers to call, what to say to them, and how to negotiate. We eliminate operational uncertainty to protect your investment.
What you don't know about U.S. retail
will cost you more than what you have already invested.
The Market Ready Framework™ is designed so that the 120 days before you touch the retailer's door serve to eliminate the cost of learning by trial and error.
Get the diagnostic →The actual cost is 2 to 3 times your estimate
Slotting fees, chargebacks, free fills, trade spend, broker commissions. Food manufacturers entering U.S. retail without technical advice end up paying multiples of their projected budget.
"The actual cost of entering U.S. retail ends up being 2-3x what the manufacturer initially estimated."
Success in your home country does not guarantee success in the U.S.
Commercial traction in your country of origin does not automatically translate to success in chains like Whole Foods or ShopRite. Logistical, margin, and regulatory demands do not forgive improvisation.
"What sold in Colombia or Mexico will not necessarily sell in Whole Foods."
Not understanding retail terminology is not understanding your costs
GTM, trade spend, TPR, scan allowance, slotting fee, chargeback. Every technical contractual term you do not master represents a charge you did not budget for that directly hits your cash flow.
"The manufacturer does not know chargebacks exist until the first invoice arrives."
Not knowing which service you need makes you pay twice
Strategic consulting, pure brokerage, or a fractional sales manager? Without defining the type of support, operational decisions fail, and financial efforts are duplicated unnecessarily.
"They know they need help but do not know what kind of service they need."
Your packaging does not comply with FDA regulation
Incorrect nutrition facts, undeclared allergens, or non-permitted claims. If your packaging does not pass regulatory review, listing is immediately rejected at distribution centers.
"Brands arriving in the U.S. market without understanding regulatory packaging requirements are rejected at the DC."
Large chains operate by EDI, not by email
Chains like Walmart, Kroger, and Target require EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) from day one. You cannot generate a single purchase order without it. MCC maps the technical requirements before you invoice anyone.
"The manufacturer does not even know what EDI is or that they need it."
Trade spend that destroys your margin
TPRs, temporary price reductions, scan allowances, and marketing accruals. Every promotion that is not accounted for directly reduces your margin. MCC structures your pricing to protect your profitability from day one.
"Trade spend can destroy margins if not properly budgeted from the start."
Not knowing how retail works makes you pay with capital
Slotting, warehousing, logistics. Every step that is not managed pushes costs onto the manufacturer. The retail reality is that costs are often underestimated and chargebacks appear unsolicited.
"They need diagnostics to calculate the true cost of retail entry."
You can learn alone or with a team that has already done it before
Every month you spend testing and making mistakes costs you more than the total of the framework. At MCC, we eliminate that cost by providing structured advice and technical expertise from day one.
"Learning by trial and error costs more than consulting with a team that has already walked the path."
Our experience speaks for us
If you have retail-ready products,
MCC has the right buyer pool.
The Market Ready Framework™ is designed to work where product viability is confirmed and execution is the priority.
Food Manufacturers
Processed goods, snacks, sauces, condiments, and beverages. Fully certified, registered, and shelf-ready.
Established Brands Lacking Scale
Brands active in independent stores or local sectors, but lacking the dedicated sales force required to pitch chain supermarkets.
International Brands
Exporters from LatAm, Europe, and Asia aiming to place goods in the U.S. Northeast. MCC acts as your local commercial office.
Cooperatives & Collectives
Agrupations that possess excellent volume capacity and quality products, but lack direct networks with chain category managers.
East Coast Retail Coverage
MCC actively negotiates with regional retailers and chains across the East Coast — from New England to the Mid-Atlantic. This is the most densely populated and highest-purchasing power corridor in the U.S.
120 days.
Three concrete transformations.
The Market Ready Framework™ is not theoretical training or generic advice. It is a structured process focused on technical deliverables ready for retail buyers.
Request Diagnostic →Phase 1
We determine the financial viability of your product in U.S. retail. If your margins cannot withstand retail costs, we tell you immediately to protect your capital.
Phase 2
We build a commercial pitch deck and technical sell sheets adapted to the U.S. buyer. We eliminate any technical or cultural barriers before the first pitch.
Phase 3
We identify key decision-makers in the Northeast and structure commercial negotiation limits (slotting, trade spend, chargebacks) to protect your profitability.
Framework Deliverables
Executable documentation generated through the process. Zero theory, pure application.

Leaders Who Trust
Group MCC.

Quick answers before you decide.
We tell you transparently in Phase 1. If market and margin data demonstrate your product is not viable on the shelf today, we halt the process and you will not incur further monthly framework costs. Our goal is to protect your capital, not consume it.
If we determine your packaging does not meet FDA regulatory guidelines or that the master box format does not fit distribution center standards, we will give you detailed technical change requirements. Once corrected, we proceed with the corresponding phase.
This framework includes mapping, listing, and strategically preparing your materials for presentation. However, active buyer representation (direct brokerage) is contracted separately. MCC Consulting ensures your brand is ready to sell; Brokerage is the subsequent representation.
The fee is calculated after the initial conversation and is set as a fixed amount in the commercial proposal based on the technical complexity of the brand, product categories, and SKU volume to be evaluated. It is a transparent value with no hidden charges or unforeseen over-costs.
No cost initial diagnostic.
